Rosalind Comyn
Legal & Policy Officer


Rosalind is a Legal and Policy Officer at Rights Watch (UK). She previously worked as a consultant on ARTICLE 19’s law programme, developing their advocacy at the UN Human Rights Council. She also worked with Reprieve’s Abuses in Counter Terrorism team, receiving funding from the Hollond Fund and the Human Rights Lawyers Association to conduct research on drone strikes.

Rosalind has worked as a research assistant for an Irish barrister, contributing to the 4th edition of his text on Judicial Review. She also interned at the Human Dignity Trust and the American Bar Association Center for Human Rights.

Rosalind has an LLB in Law and Political Science from Trinity College Dublin. She graduated with a Gold Medal and was awarded the Law School Prize for placing first in her class. She holds an LLM (International Law) from the University of Cambridge. At Cambridge she was an editor of the Cambridge Journal of International and Comparative Law and an Executive Committee Member of the Cambridge Pro Bono Project.
